TMC (Top Mount Cantilevered) Scout Light Mount is designed to accept Surefire M300/M600 Scout and SureFire Pro with added sku number LSCOUTPRO (sold separately), Streamlight Rail Mount 1/2 & HL-X Weaponlights and Backbone Replacement M300/M600 Scout Bodies and other Replacement M300/M600 Scout Bodies and any Rail Mounted Weaponlight.
IWC designed our new TMC (Top Mount Cantilevered) Scout Light MOUNT-N-SLOT’s with AMBI mounting capability, so you can place the tail cap of the Weaponlight in either the 1:00 or 11:00 position on your weapon for activation by your support hand thumb. The TMC places the bezel of the light above the barrel and in front of the front sight base to eliminate all shadows, improving your ability to confirm the threat in no-light situations.
TMC Scout LIGHT MOUNT-N-SLOT attaches to the top vent holes in any A2/M4 AR15/M16 Hand Guard as well as the Gen 1, Flat Top, 5 Top Slot MOE Hand Guards made by Magpul Industries Corp.

Good stuff works great. I used it with the old style handguards seen in the picture and a streamlight HLX. A simple solution to mounting a light to the old style handguards.

I used the TMC Scout Light mount to mount a 300 sized Scout light on a Magpul MOE SL handguard. The SL handguard has a flat surface on the top and plenty of clearance for the mounting hardware. All that was required is two holes to be drilled. It worked perfectly and mounted the Scout light high and tight to the FSB. The mount is reversible and will work on both sides. The finish on the mount is perfect and the included hardware is high quality. IWC is my go to for mounting lights and they never disappoint.
