Superb! The QD is everything you’d expect and more, truly a work of art. The machining and finish is far beyond the price point. I decided to give this a try after my Arisaka QD began to deform around the qd interface. My sling mount is on opposing ends of the rifle, torquing the sling at times to firmly plant the rifle can put a lot of stress on the mount. So far I have yet to see any of the same degradation in anodizing or surface material experienced with the Arisaka mount. Not knocking Arisaka, they’ll replace it, but this unit is just as light weight and encompasses the same minimalistic design for 1/3 less. Additionally IWC’s customer service is exceptional, prompt shipping at an unbeatable price. You can’t go wrong giving this thing a try!
